Corned Beef and Cabbage (Crock Pot)
Place corned
beef, onion, bay leaves, garlic and pepper corns in the crock pot with
enough water to barely cover. Cover and cook on LOW for 9 to 10 hours. To
cook cabbage, place cabbage wedges in a large covered saucepan or Dutch
oven. Add about an inch of water, 1 teaspoon salt, and 1 or 2 tablespoons
lemon juice. Cover and boil for about 10 minutes, until wedges are tender.
Serve cabbage with sliced corned beef and other cooked vegetables.
Serves 8.
